Winnipesaukee Boat Rentals and Jet-ski Rentals
Meredith Marina has one of the largest boat rental fleets on Lake Winnipesaukee, and we rent boats from May through October.
Our boats are clean and safe Stingray 195 bow-riders, one of the best names in the industry, and they are powered by high-performance sterndrives (not outboards) for easy handling and fun water-sports. In addition, we have a 25 foot bowrider for longer term rentals, and we also rent jet-skis and canoes. We also offer water-skis, tubes and board with our rentals. Note that our 19 ½ foot boats are larger than many of the other rentals available on the lake – you’ll have a better ride and more room!
We rent for any time period that fits your needs - for an afternoon half-day, daily, multi-day or multi-week. There are discounts for early reservations and longer-term rentals, and calling ahead is encouraged. We have a great staff to book your reservation and answer any questions, and when you arrive our rental instructor team will familiarize you with both your craft and the lake, so you can get the best enjoyment from your day on the water.

Our renters often return year after year to enjoy all that boat renting on Lake Winnipesaukee has to offer. Some are renting camps and rent a boat for the week to keep at their dock. Others are visiting on day trips and seeking fun in the sun. You can tour Lake Winnipesaukee at you leisure, or ride to the far sides of the lake and have lunch in Wolfeboro or Alton Bay. Boating to Weirs Beach is nearby and there’s plenty to do once ashore.
Some things to consider – and frequently asked questions
The Boat: The Stingray 195 bow-rider is great for touring Winnipesaukee or fun watersports. It has a stereo, turn-key start, power trim, and a built-in swim platform with ladder. All of our boats are inspected by the Department of Safety, and we include appropriate life jackets, throw cushion, paddle and automatic fire extinguisher in order to be Coast Guard compliant. We’ll make sure you have the proper instruction, since you’ll be the captain!
JET SKI RENTALS: Our jet-ski rentals are for two-hour periods and are first-come first served (no reservations unless booking for full days). Price is $150 for the two hour period. Operators must be over 21 and have boaters license, and maximum two people per jet-ski. Safety equipement is included, and renter pays for gas and oil and $500 security deposit.
NEW for '09 - LUXURY RENTALS: For those looking for a larger boat, we will be offering a 25' bowrider with a dual-prop 300+ horsepower engine and capacity for 10 people. This loaded boat is available for weekly rentals at a higher rate. It's perfect if you're renting a lake-house for a week.
Deposit of $295 holds your boat reservation - We accept all major credit cards. Pricing is guaranteed at time of reservation.
ALL renters must be certified with NH boaters license - We offer temporary two-week licenses upon completion of a short test at the marina, which can be taken on the day of the rental or in advance. Click here for details
Capacity: No pets are allowed on boats – maximum 6 people allowed on boats.
You will be charged for a lake map which you can keep as well as the amount of gas used (typically less than $40). Water ski and tube packages are available and cost $30 per day.
Rental times are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and there is a late fee if you don't return on time. It will take about half an hour after you return for the check-out process.
We have on-site parking and are conveniently located in Meredith, 10 minutes from Rte 93 and walking distance from town.
There is a $1000 security deposit at the time of rental, which will be returned if the boat is not damaged. Note that this is an expensive craft and insurance is not available - you are responsible for anything that happens during your rental period, even if exceeds the amount of your security deposit.
Cancellation policy: Cancellation within four days of rental forfeits deposit unless we can re-rent the boat, in which case we will return you deposit. We all are subject to mother nature, and if it happens to be too stormy (our determination) when you arrive we will return your deposit.
